History/Milestones

A brief history incl. major milestones for the Colorado SOTA Association. Details are a little fuzzy for the early days but I think we captured the important steps. Contact me if you have corrections or more details.

6th CO Mountain Goat

Another Goat… Walt/WØCP reached MG status on February 12th, 2017.

17th CO Shack Sloth

Matt/KØMOS crossed the 1000 Chaser points on December 6th, 2016. All voice, all portable (no Shack involved).

Carey/KXØR reached  10x Sloth status on October 8th, 2016 – Time to get from Shack-Sloth to Super Shack Sloth… ~23 months.

Martha/WØERI reached 50,000 Chaser points on June 19th, 2016

In August 2016 Curtis/KC5CW moved into Colorado from W5 land . He already is a MG (1023 pt.) and SS (1272 pt.)  

1st double CO Mountain Goat

Carey/KXØR (also known as George) reached 2000 Activator points on August 1st, 2016… he is Colorado’s first double Mountain Goat (CODMG™). Carey went from single Goatdom to double SOTA Goat in ~16 months – no small feat in Colorado, trust me on that.
